Why hire an advisor?
Ÿ Reduce personal time involvement
Ÿ Obtain professional expertise Ÿ Freedom from decision-making Ÿ Control risk Ÿ Improve diversification Ÿ Lower trading costs
Ÿ Individualized portfolios Ÿ Customized reporting Technical Disciplines
Technical Disciplines provides tailored investment advisory and money management services for personal, trust, pension or employee-benefit plan assets. Minimum portfolio size is $200,000. Client accounts are managed on a discretionary basis. Our goal
is to preserve and increase investment capital over stock market cycles. Technical Disciplines assesses a management fee based on a percentage of the assets under management. We receive no part of any commissions. This insures alignment of our interests with your interests. Investment Approach An effective investment plan
begins with a thorough analysis of investor needs, objectives, and risk tolerances. This analysis will determine the basic asset allocation among cash, stocks and bonds. Technical Disciplines' investment approach is based on contrarian technical analysis. Buy signals from our technical analysis direct us to stocks that are ``out-of-favor" or unpopular, but offer good value. Sell signals often occur when stocks are ``in favor," popular and over-valued.
Our belief is that the ``crowd" is generally wrong at critical changes in trend. Personal Attention
Because Technical Disciplines handles a limited number of portfolios, you are always assured of receiving full attention for your investment needs. In addition to confirmations of trades and periodic account statements from your custodian, Technical Disciplines provides a comprehensive portfolio summary and performance report each quarter. Unlike owning a mutual fund, with Technical Disciplines you are able to consult with your portfolio manager on any matters concerning your investments.
